Our wish and prayer for you in 2024 is that you would receive all the Lord has for you! All the peace, all the joy, and so much more! To find out what doors God wants to open for you, you must investigate the Living Word of God, let it sink into your heart, and let it change the way you live! There may be many mysteries in life, but the will of God is not one of those mysteries. Let us share scripture with you to back that up!
To start let’s look at Isaiah 55:9 which says “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”
Now let’s add 1 Corinthians 2:9-13 “ ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’ The things God has prepared for those who love Him-these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught to us by human wisdom but in the words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.”
By really examining these scriptures we can take from it that God has wisdom above all men. The spirit and wisdom of mankind can not think His thoughts. The spirit and wisdom of mankind cannot fathom His heart. The good news is that once you became born again, you were born of His Spirit! This means you now have the Spirit of God in you! Now you can understand His ways and His thoughts! What joy! Being Spirit-led doesn’t mean being led by the spirit you were born with. It means being led by the Spirit of God that you received at the time of salvation. It is by this Spirit that you will understand what is mysterious to those without His Spirit.
This year we pray that you will allow the Word of God to dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16) so that you develop the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). This is the key to having all that God has for you in 2024. Make up your mind today that God’s best is the very best for you and then make up your mind not to let doubt and unbelief stop you from pursuing the Lord and finding out what is yours! We pray that Matthew 6:33 will stay fresh on your mind and in your spirit, reminding you to “seek first the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” Our final prayer over you is inspired by Psalms 119:32-33 (TPT), that you will run after Him with delight in your heart as He makes you obedient to His instruction and that He will give you revelation about the meaning of His ways so you can enjoy the reward of following Him fully!
