Statement of Faith
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker
of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His
only Son and our Lord; who was conceived by
the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary,
walked a sinless life, suffered and was
crucified, dead and buried; the third day He
arose from the dead; he ascended into Heaven
and now sits at the right hand of the Father
interceding for us until His appearing. I
believe that Jesus is the only way to the
Father. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the
Life.
The Word
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the
product for holy men of old who spoke and
wrote as they were led by the Holy Spirit.
The New Covenant, as recorded in the New
Testament, is what we accept as our
infallible guide in matters pertaining to
conduct and doctrine.
(Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, II Peter 1:21)
The Trinity
Our God is one but is manifested in three
persons- the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit. They are all of the same substance,
and are co-equal and co-eternal. (Matthew
3:16-29, John 17, Genesis 1:26, Luke 1:35,
Isaiah 9:6, Hebrews 3:7-11)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is
God come in the flesh and that He is both
divine and human. We believe that Jesus
Christ is God the Son, the second person of
the Trinity. On earth He was 100% God and
100% man. He was the only man ever to live a
sinless life. (Luke 1:26-28, John 14:1-3, I
Timothy 3:16, Acts 2:36, Hebrews 1:3-15)
The Blood Atonement of Jesus Christ for
Mankind
We believe that man, in his natural state,
is a sinner, lost, undone, without hope, and
without God. (Romans 3:19-23, Ephesians
2:1,2,12) We believe in the saving power of
the Blood of Jesus Christ and His imputed
righteousness to all who believe on Him with
faith. The Blood that Jesus Christ shed on
the Cross of Calvary was sinless and is 100%
sufficient to forgive man of All of his
sins. Jesus allowed Himself to be punished
for the sins we had committed, enabling all
mankind to be free from the penalty of which
is death. Jesus paid for all of our sins
past, present and future. (Acts 4:12, Romans
3:10-12,23, Ephesians 1:3-15, Hebrews
7:25-28 Colossians 1:20, John 1;29)
Born Again into Everlasting Life
Man’s first step toward salvation is Godly
sorrow that works repentance. The new birth
is necessary to all men, and when fulfilled,
it produces eternal life. (John 3:3-5, II
Corinthians 7:10, I John 5:12)
Water Baptism
Baptism in water by immersion is a direct
commandment of our Lord and is for believers
only. The ordinance is a symbol for he
Christian’s identification with Christ in
His death, burial, and resurrection.
(Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39, Romans 6:4,
Colossians 2:12)
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is a
gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus
Christ to all believers in this dispensation
and is received subsequent to the new birth.
This experience is accompanied by the
evidence of speaking in other tongues as the
Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance.
(Matthew 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8,
2:4,2:38-39,19:1-7)
The Lord’s Supper
A unique time of communion in the presence
of God when the elements of bread and juice,
representing the Body and the Blood of the
Lord Jesus Christ, are taken in remembrance
of His sacrifice on the cross. (Matthew
26:26-28, Luke 22:13-20, I Corinthians
10:16, 11:23-25)
Sanctification
The Bible teaches that without holiness no
man can see the Lord. We believe in the
doctrine of sanctification as a definite yet
progressive work of grace, commencing at the
time of regeneration and continuing until
the consummation of salvation. (Hebrews
12:14, I Thessalonians 5:23, II Peter 3:18,
I Corinthians 1:30, II Corinthians 3:18,
Philippians 3:12-14)
Tithe & Offering
We believe that the method ordained
of God for the support and spread of His
cause is by the giving of tithes and
freewill offerings.
(Mal. 3:10; 2 Cor. 9:7; Heb. 7:8)
Divine Healing
We believe in divine healing and that it was
provided for us in the Atonement of our Lord
Jesus Christ. It is wrought by the power of
God through the prayer of faith and by the
laying on of hands. It is a privilege of
every member of the Church today. However,
we encourage and do not condemn medical
science. (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, Mark
16:18, James 5:14-16, I Peter 2:24)
Priesthood of Believers
We believe that each believer is a priest of
the Lord Jesus Christ and has direct access
to the Father through the Lord Jesus. Each
person must believe for themselves, be
baptized, obey, and answer to their Creator.
(Revelation 1:6, I Peter 2:9)
The Great Return
We believe in the visible, bodily return of
Jesus Christ to this earth to gather His
Church and judge the world. Jesus Christ
will physically and visibly return to earth
for the second time to establish His
Kingdom. This will occur at a date
undisclosed by the scriptures. (Revelation
1:7, Matthew 24:30,26,63,64. I Thessalonians
4:15-18, II Thessalonians 1:7,8)
Eternal Life
We believe that there is an eternal life and
that this world is not our home. As a
believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ we
receive His life in us and we will forever
live together with him for eternity. The
Word of God says clearly that those who
reject His free gift of life through His Son
Jesus are cast away into the Lake of Fire to
spend eternity in Hell, but those who die
“in Him” shall share in His glory in Heaven
Forever.
